American Exchange Bank (AEB) President Terri Thompson announced her retirement as of September.
AEB's Board of Directors recently announced Keith Hare has been chosen as new president.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity to lead the great team at AEB as we continually strive to offer exemplary service to our customers,” Hare said.
In July 2017, Hare joined AEB as Lending Officer and Security Officer offering over 19 years of banking experience in various capacities.
A graduate of Southern Methodist University Southwestern Graduate School in Dallas, Texas, he is a member of the Oklahoma Bankers Association.
In addition, Hare has completed multiple school programs in banking.
He was also named the Henryetta Rotary Club President for 2021-2022 and is a member of Weleetka Pride Makers.
Hare and his wife, Courtney, have two daughters, Kallie and Korbyn. They reside in Weleetka where they have a small cattle operation and attend First Free Will Baptist Church.
“I look forward to building on the long-standing history of the oldest bank in Henryetta, even as we expand our reach to other communities,” he said.
