• Attack was a frame-up by operators - After contact with police officers and confirmation of no underhanded play at the mines in Schulter, a small town a few miles south of Okmulgee, police were convinced there was no need for state troopers in the area.

• Dig Up Some Old Bones - The skeletons of two bodies were found in Okmulgee yesterday while men were doing some excavation work for the new Catholic church basement. The contractor stated that the bones had been reburied after they had been there for many years.

The project proceeded to progress speedily after men had dug out six feet of dirt on either side of the road to provide space for the widening of Main.

• Three Injured Near Here in a Wreck on Sunday Three Oklahoma city residents were sent to Mercy Hospital on Sunday after a traumatic wreck that caused their car to be overturned on Highway 266. The car struck a bridge abutment and turned over and over lading on its head in four feet of water.
