The Preston High School track team brought grit and determination to the 2025 Oklahoma Union High School Track and Field Meet on April 14, earning points in multiple relays and sprints while gaining valuable competitive experience against a deep field.

Team Results: While Oklahoma Union and Verdigris dominated overall team standings, Preston athletes held their own with several strong finishes and scored in both boys’ and girls’ events.
--- Preston Boys Highlights
• In the 100 meters, Caden Hollier sprinted to a 3rd-place finish, clocking 11.81 seconds, earning 6 points.
• Preston’s 4x100 relay team secured 4th place at 47.62, picking up 8 points.
• The 4x200 relay team matched that effort, also finishing 4th in 1:46.89.
• Rylan Hicks placed 6th in the boys’ 400m with a time of 1:01.83, earning 1 point.
• Evan Ryder (1:03.01), Braylen O’Mara (1:03.48), and Jimmy Criner (2:37.63 in the 800m) also competed strongly for Preston.

• In the 4x100 relay, Preston finished 4th with a time of 59.52, scoring 8 points.
• The girls also earned 4th place in the 4x200 relay, finishing in 2:06.60.
• In the 100m dash, Paris Lewis finished 10th (14.82), with teammates Danielle Golden (12th, 14.94) and Alayna Fixico (17th, 15.16) close behind.
• Fixico also competed in the 400 meters, finishing 9th (1:12.39), with Taylor Lumpkin close behind in 11th (1:13.73).
• In the 200m dash, Brinley Kennedy finished 11th in 30.84 seconds, and Emiko Nystrom placed 20th (34.33).
