City-Wide Cleanup Days planned

Henryetta citizens are invited to roll up their sleeves and help beautify the community during the upcoming City-Wide Cleanup Days scheduled for Thursday, May 9 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, May 10 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

This free event is available exclusively to Henryetta residents with a city water bill, and allows two trips per household to dispose of eligible waste items. The drop-off location will be at the Henryetta Public Works building located along Highway 75.

While this is a great opportunity to clear out unwanted items and contribute to a cleaner city, residents are reminded that certain items will not be accepted, including tires, batteries, limbs and brush and paint.

More information and guidelines will be released as the event date approaches, so residents are encouraged to stay tuned to city announcements and local news.

Take pride in your community and make plans now to participate in this spring clean-up effort. It’s a simple way to help improve the appearance of Henryetta for everyone.
