--- Golden Demons dominate Weleetka The Beggs Golden Demons varsity squad lit up the scoreboard in a 13-3 win over the Weleetka Outlaws on Thursday.
Dallas Wilson started the scoring early with an RBI single in the first, and Beggs built momentum in the second with a walk from Kevin Monteque and a run scoring on a wild pitch. The team never looked back.
Ranson Stephens went the distance on the mound for Beggs, allowing just three runs on six hits, while striking out five and walking five in a complete seven-inning effort. Lane Kelly was a force at the plate, going 2-for-4 and driving in three runs. Stephens, Kelly and Landon Helt each collected two hits. Monteque showed patience at the plate, drawing four of the team’s 10 walks. Beggs stayed aggressive on the bases with four stolen bags and played flawless defense.

• Kevin Monteque: 4 BB --- A tough outing in Kellyville Beggs couldn’t carry Thursday’s momentum into Friday’s matchup, falling to Kellyville 7-2.
Colton McCoy gave the Demons an early lead with a first-inning RBI single, but the Ponies struck back in the bottom of the second with a four-run inning, sparked by a two-RBI double from Asher Thornbrue.
Dallas Wilson got the start and pitched four innings, allowing seven runs - only four of which were earned - while striking out three. Kevin Monteque led the offense with a 2-for-3 performance at the plate. The team drew six walks throughout the game.

• Jerret Hammer: RBI --- Beggs JH downs Sallisaw Central in pitching battle On the junior high side, Cody Woods delivered on the mound in a 3-2 victory over Sallisaw Central on Thursday.
Beggs got on the board in the first inning after a triple from Dason Sparkman scored two. Sparkman finished 2-for-2 with 2 RBIs to lead the offense.
Woods threw five strong innings, giving up just three hits and two runs, while striking out five and walking one. The defense backed him up with error-free play. --- Stats

• Dason Sparkman: 2-for-2, 2 RBIs --- Oktaha JH overwhelms Beggs early Beggs JH ran into trouble early against Oktaha on Friday, giving up eight runs in the first inning and falling 12-0.
Despite the loss, the team continued to play clean defensively with no errors committed. Cody Woods once again led the team in fielding chances.
--- Beggs JH rally falls short against Keys Beggs JH made a late push but came up short in a 9-7 loss to the Keys Cougars on Friday.
The Demons jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning behind a two-RBI triple from Dason Sparkman and a double from Hunter Driver. Keys responded with a six-run third to take control.
Sparkman had a standout game, going 2-for-3 with five RBIs. Driver added two hits and two stolen bases. Zane Cantrell took the loss on the mound, surrendering seven runs in 2.2 innings.
