Green Country Technology Center (GCTC) is seeking voter support for a Building Fund Levy Increase on May 13 to aid the expansion and modernization of career training programs for students and adults in Okmulgee County.
This proposal would allow GCTC to add a new career-focused instructional program, upgrade equipment across all existing programs and improve safety and facilities – all at no cost to area high school students.
“Career and technical education is more important than ever,” said Roger King, Superintendent of GCTC. “This increase would ensure that our students have access to industry-standard training, keeping them competitive in the job market and supporting our local workforce and economy.”
