• The Henryetta Rotary Club hosted RYLA girls who attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Camp. The girls told of their experiences at the camp and what they enjoyed the most from their time.

• Dewar Public School held McTeacher Night. Their goal was $200 in pie sales. Teachers served up fries and burgers while others encouraged customers to buy pies.
• The Henryetta Lady Knights took home the championship at the Henryetta High School Invitational Tennis Tournament while the boys Duo of Jarret Day and Tiger Freeman took home first in the Doubles Team match.

• Three juveniles were arrested for the break-in at Zane Mart in Schulter. The juveniles were caught and released to their parents’ custody. The case was turned over to the Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs.
• The Henryetta tennis team dominated the court against Jenks. The Knights came away with a 7-2 decision while the girls nailed it 6-3 to finish the day.
• Ed Hudson, curator of the Henryetta Territorial Museum, received the highest honor for historical preservation from the Oklahoma Heritage Association. The group was particularly impressed with his rare panoramic negatives.
