Get ready for mystery, mayhem, and murder - all with a comedic twist - as the Okmulgee Community Theatre brings CLUE back to the historic Orpheum Theatre stage this April.
Based on the cult classic film and the iconic board game, CLUE promises a night of laughs, suspense and plenty of twists as a colorful cast of characters tries to uncover the identity of a killer. Performances will be held April 4, 5 and 11 at 7:30 p.m., with a special matinee showing on April 12 at 2 p.m.
The local production is based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn and adapted for the stage by Sandy Rustin, with additional material by Hunter Foster and Eric Price.
Bringing the whodunnit to life is a talented ensemble cast, according to Fay Tipton. Cast members include Sean Rains, Kat Sampson, Jeb Cook, Rachel Brock, Josiah Felkins, Caleb Brown, Nicole Rains, Byrn Smith, Mello Smith, Dru Sample, Traci Lewis and Violet Clinger. With such a diverse and dynamic group of performers, audiences can expect a lively and engaging performance.
Theatre-goers can enjoy concessions including soda, water, and popcorn during the show. Tickets are affordably priced at $10 for adults and just $5 for children 12 and under.
Whether you’re a fan of the original film, love a good mystery or just want a fun night out, CLUE is set to entertain and delight. Come join the investigation - you may just solve the mystery before the final curtain falls.
