--- Board of County Commissioners Meeting Attended the weekly Board of County Commissioners meeting, providing updates on emergency management activities and ongoing projects.
--- Floodplain Inquiries
Received three floodplain inquiries from residents, two from District 1 and one from District 3. --- Wildfire Response
Assisted McIntosh County with wildfire response on Tiger Mountain. Provided drone operations to support situational awareness and fire containment efforts. Responded to multiple grass fires within the county; no structures were damaged, and no injuries were reported.
--- Gem Dirt Fire Assistance
At the request of the State of Oklahoma and Tulsa Area Emergency Management, assisted with the Gem Dirt Fire in Jenks. Provided tanker support and command assistance on Tuesday and Thursday. Conducted drone operations for situational assessment and response coordination. --- Meetings & Coordination Efforts
Met virtually with DroneSense to discuss drone operations management and their secure server platform within the United States.
Participated in a virtual meeting with FEMA to discuss management costs related to the Spring 2024 tornadoes.
Conducted a phone conference with the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management regarding the Outdoor Warning Siren Project.
--- Severe Weather Monitoring and Response Engaged in severe weather monitoring and storm spotting throughout the week.
Responded to an EF-0 tornado event from Saturday evening into Sunday afternoon. No significant damage or injuries reported.

Our efforts continue to focus on enhancing disaster response capabilities, leveraging drone technology and improving community preparedness through coordination with state and federal partners.
