--- Congratulations to CLEET Graduates
A special congratulations goes out to Brittany Church-Metcalf and William Russell, who officially graduated from the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) program. Walking across the stage to receive their certification marks a significant milestone in their law enforcement careers, demonstrating their hard work, dedication and commitment to serving the community.
“Your perseverance and dedication are truly commendable,” OCCJA stated in recognition of the graduates.
CLEET certification ensures that officers receive rigorous training in areas such as defensive tactics, legal studies, firearms handling, and community policing. The achievement of these two officers strengthens OCCJA’s commitment to professional excellence and public safety.
--- New Chaplains Bring Hope to OCCJA
OCCJA is also pleased to welcome Christy and Donna, the newest chaplains to join the organization. Under the leadership of Chaplain Johnny Wagner, OCCJA’s chaplaincy team continues to provide transformative classes aimed at helping inmates overcome trauma and addiction through a biblical approach.
The chaplaincy program plays a crucial role in rehabilitation efforts, offering hope and guidance to inmates while fostering a positive environment for both staff and those in custody. OCCJA expressed its deep gratitude to all who dedicate their time and energy to this important cause.
