An early morning storm on Tuesday brought high winds and damage to some areas in southern Okmulgee County. Reports were received of damage to homes and power lines near I-40 east of Henryetta, along with some wind damage to homes in the city. East Central Electric reported at least 1,170 members without power, but around noon, it was 115. Confirmed broken poles were up to 22. Okmulgee County Emergency Management Director Jeffrey Moore urges citizens that have damage to report those, as assessments are underway.
