The Henryetta City Council meeting originally scheduled for Feb. 18 has been postponed due to inclement weather and will now take place on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the Civic Center, located at 115 S. 4th Street. The Henryetta Municipal Authority will also meet following the City Council session.
City officials will address several key topics during the meeting, including financial reports, property abatements, and requests for event approvals.
Below is a breakdown of the City Council agenda: • Consent Agenda – Approval of January 2025 financial reports, minutes, and claims.
• Bank of Oklahoma Payment – Authorization of a $40,023.88 payment for the 2015 Note Series.
• Property Abatement – Discussion on abated property at 405 N. 11th Street, owned by Randal and Jennifer Fuller.
• Annual Labor Day Car Show – Request from First Family Federal Credit Union to use Main Street for the event on Aug. 30.
• Tent Revival Request – Pastor Jer- ry & Diana Page seek permission to use a city-owned lot behind O’Reilly Auto Parts for tent revivals from May 9-20 and July 29-Aug. 12.
• Chamber of Commerce Events – Approval of 2025 Chamber events, including Cruise Knights on April 26, June 14, and Sept. 27, along with $700 in funding for bounce house rentals.
• Monster Mash Event – Discussion on closing Main Street from 3rd to 6th Street on Oct. 31, from 4-10 p.m.
• Mistletoe Market Consideration of closing North 5th Street from Main to AEB Drive-Thru during the holiday market dates: Dec. 5-7, 12-14, and 19-21.
• Property Abatement – Discussion regarding property at East Cummings & Frisco Ave. southwest corner, owned by Evan Ariel Maczura.
• City Manager’s Report – Review of updates from the City Manager.

Following the City Council meeting, the Henryetta Municipal Authority will convene to discuss financial reports, outstanding payments and infrastructure projects. Notable agenda items include:
