The Henryetta Chamber of Commerce will hold their Legislative Forum this Friday, beginning at 11 a.m. at Shoney’s Restaurant.
Guest speaker will be Senator David Bullard from Durant. Senator Bullard covers Senate District 8 (Atoka, Bryan, Choctaw, Johnston and Pushmataha counties).
Senator Bullard is one of the leaders of the Senate and Chairs the Retirement and Government Resources committee. He is also a member of the OMES, Agriculture and Wildlife, Rules and Technology, and Telecommunications committees.
Sen. Bullard has agreed to be the surrogate State Senator this session, which gives constituents a chance to share what is important to us in Okmulgee County and hear what he will be working on in the upcoming session.
Rep. Scott Fetgatter will also be guest speaker. Fetgatter was elected to serve House District 16 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2016.
During the past eight years, Fetgatter has been dedicated to promoting economic development and diversity in Oklahoma to make the state more business friendly. His favorite part of the job is assisting his constituents in House District 16 with their daily needs.
