Joe Julian Acree passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in Tulsa at 80 years of age.

Joe was born May 10, 1944, in Liberal, Kansas. He attended Wilson Grade School in Okmulgee and graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1962. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era and was later in the Army Reserve. Joe then attended OSUIT (OSU Tech) and graduated with an Associate’s in Applied Science. He later attended Green Country Technology Center, where he earned a Certificate of Digital Media/Multimedia. He worked in retail and at a glass plant.
