The Morris Lady Eagles put on a commanding performance against the Henryetta Lady Knights Tuesday night, securing a decisive 69-31 victory at Henryetta High School. With a balanced offensive attack and aggressive defense, the Lady Eagles proved unstoppable.
Morris dominated from the start, outscoring Henryetta in every quarter. The Lady Eagles jumped to an early lead with a 14-9 first quarter and extended their advantage to 36-20 by halftime. In the second half, Morris showed no signs of slowing down, adding 33 more points while holding Henryetta to just 11.
The Lady Eagles’ strong defen- sive effort kept Henryetta’s offense in check, forcing turnovers and limiting scoring opportunities. Alexis Schell and Fire Clark anchored Morris’ offense with consistent scoring inside and outside the paint, while Lilli Giddens delivered key baskets in transition.
For Henryetta, Jordan Goodman led the way with 10 points, but the team struggled to find rhythm against Morris’ aggressive defense. Despite the loss, the Lady Knights showed grit and determination, particularly in the first half when they stayed within striking distance.
