Knights win hard-fought contest against Eagles

In a thrilling game marked by 11 lead changes, the Henryetta Knights emerged victorious over the Morris Eagles, 65-59, on Friday at Henryetta High School. Talon Weaver led the Knights with 18 points, helping secure the win in the final quarter.

The Eagles started strong, overcoming an early 8-0 deficit with a 13-point run to take the lead. The first half ended in a 26-26 tie, setting up an exciting second half. Although Morris took a 36-30 lead during the third quarter, Henryetta responded with a decisive 21-15 advantage in the fourth to claim victory.
