The Henryetta Knight Brigade Band Boosters are inviting the community to a special event, Cinderella’s Dinner, to be held on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Henryetta High School Cafeteria. This fundraiser aims to support the Knight Brigade’s upcoming trip to Washington, D.C. in May to perform in the prestigious National Memorial Day Parade.
— Dinner Details & Tickets Tickets for Cinderella’s Dinner are $15 each and can be purchased from any Knight Brigade band student. As a bonus, each ticket also provides a $3 discount on admission to H-Town Theatre’s production of Cinderella, making it a delightful way to enjoy an evening of good food and community entertainment. Simply present your dinner ticket at the theatre door for the discount.
The dinner menu includes spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and a drink.
— Supporting the Knight Brigade’s Journey Funds raised from the event will help cover the band’s travel expenses for their performance in Washington, D.C., where they will represent Henryetta with pride on a national stage. The band boosters emphasize the importance of music education and the role it plays in the high school experience.
“Music education is vital not only for students directly involved, but also for the entire school population and community,” said a representative from the Henryetta Band Boosters. “Band is the soundtrack of our high school experience. Music inspires us, encourages us and unites us. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the support of people like you.”
