The Dewar Dragon football team’s efforts to raise funds for their commemorative State Championship rings are moving full steam ahead with more donations coming in this week. On Tuesday, American Exchange Bank President Keith Hare and other representatives made a presentation to Coach Josh Been, fellow coaches and players to aid in the fundraiser. That presentation was followed by a check donation from the Dewar Education Foundation. With an estimated $20,000 needed to secure the championship rings, the Dragons have launched several fundraising initiatives to celebrate their historic achievement.
