Thanks to the generous donations from the Okmulgee and surrounding community, children under DHS care could receive gifts for Christmas as part of the annual Harlan Ford Toy Drive. Harlan Ford graciously collected the items and then put the toys and bikes into vehicles from the dealership to transport them downtown to the DHS office. The Okmulgee Police Department gave them an escort, and assisted in unloading the items. A big thanks to the many businesses around the county who placed collection bins at their locations to gather the toys.
