Jennifer Elizabeth (Briscoe) McKay passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024, in Tulsa, at 75 years of age. She was born August 1, 1949, in Okmulgee to the late Walter Jefferson Briscoe and Grace Elizabeth (Smith) Briscoe. Jennifer graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1968. On May 3, 1968, she married the love of her life, Stanley Doyle McKay. They resided in Okmulgee until 1988, when they moved their family to Dallas and returned to the Tulsa area two years later to be near their first grandchild.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, JoAnn Childs, Jan McNew and a brother, Bill Briscoe.
Survivors include her husband, Stan McKay; children, Toby McKay and Cheryl McKay-Wilson and husband Bo; grandchildren, Jessica McKay, Madison Rowland and Joshua McKay, great grandchildren, Caroline Rowland, Breckham Rowland and Ember Meggyes; a sister, Judy Roberts and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jennifer will be remembered for her deep love of her family.
Family will gather at Second Baptist Church in Okmulgee at noon. Friends and family will gather for viewing at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 1-3 p.m. The committal will follow at Okmulgee Cemetery.
