In a game filled with drama and 15 lead changes, the Henryetta Knights emerged victorious over the Hugo Buffaloes, 7876, in an overtime showdown Tuesday night in Hugo. Skylar Greenhaw sealed the win with a clutch two-pointer on the final shot of the game.
The Knights started strong, controlling the first quarter and outscoring Hugo 14-7. However, the Buffaloes battled back to take a 33-31 lead at halftime. The game remained a nail-biter throughout the second half, with Hugo mounting a 10-1 run to take the lead after trailing 6154. But in the end, the Knights’ resilience and Greenhaw’s heroics proved too much for Hugo to overcome.
Skylar Greenhaw was the standout performer for Henryetta, scoring an impressive 31 points. Talon Weaver also delivered a strong showing with 28 points, including 12 of 14 free throws. Nakona Jonshon added 10 points, while James Joslin, Bishop Berryhill, Gavin Williams, and Maverix Randleman contributed key buckets to round out the scoring.
Henryetta’s offense was particularly effective from beyond the arc, with Greenhaw, Weaver, and Johnson each hitting multiple three-pointers.
