James Laurence “Jim” Martin passed away in Bryson, Texas on November 10, 2024, at the age of 91 years, six months and seven days. He was born May 3, 1933, in Detroit to Simon and Catherine (Sales) Martin.

On Friday, November 29, a “Giving Thanks Day” for Jim will be held by his much-loved “Boss” family in Texas with pictures, flowers, stories, prayers and May 3, 1933 – November 10, 2024

memories. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 30, with Rev. Ken Harder officiating. Interment will be held at the Veteran’s Circle at Okmulgee Cemetery, according to Jim’s wishes.

Cremation is being handled by McClendon-Winters Funeral Home.
