Henryetta educators received an early Christmas gift as the Henryetta Education Foundation (HEF) awarded nearly $15,000 in grants to 17 teachers last Thursday. These grants aim to support innovative approaches and enhance learning materials in classrooms throughout the district.
Making the presentations were several HEF board members with President James McCullough, leading the way.
The grants included a $5,000 check to the Henryetta Band to assist with fundraising efforts for their upcoming trip to Washington, D.C. for their participation in the Tournament of Roses Parade.

• Patrick Turner – Academic Team Quiz Bowl Buzzer System
• M. Kellett – Henryetta Baseball Advanced Hitting and Pitching
• Darla Anderson – Mindful Learning Since its inception in 1997, the HEF has remained committed to enriching the educational experience for both students and teachers. To date, the Foundation has invested more than $410,000 in local programs, reinforcing its commitment to empowering educators and uplifting the Henryetta community.
