Donald Dean Clark, 91, of Harrison, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at The Brook of Houghton Lake in Houghton Lake, Mich. Donald was born November 2, 1932, in Crook Township, Ill. the son of James Clark and Emma (Webb) Clark.
Soon after Donald graduated high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Clark was united in marriage to the former Edith “Edie” J. Johonson on May 4, 1979. Mrs. Clark preceded Donald in death on February 4, 2010. Donald had resided in Harrison for several years, moving from Okmulgee.
Surviving Donald are his four children: Linda Gail Clark and husband Jeff Snyder of South Boardman, Mich., Cathy Clark Mann of Franklin, Tenn., Donald Clark, Jr. of Preston and Jillann Walker of Bartlesville, one stepson, Kevin Gunter and wife Rhiannon Elayne Dennis of Cushing; twelve grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, plus several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Mr. Clark was also preceded in death by his parents, one son, Alan Clark of Tulsa, one sister, Faye Capps and three brothers: John Clark, Gary Clark and Larry Clark.
Graveside services honoring Mr. Clark were held Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 12 p.m. from Maple Grove Cemetery in Harrison, with Pastor Ron Callen officiating.
