The Henryetta football squad was entertained at the Santee drug store, with the balcony decorated in high school colors and roses of red and white. Ice cream and cake were served to about thirty members of the squad, including William Cox and Bert Ramsdell, coach and assistant. P.G. Santee and William Cox addressed the team, with Mr. Santee expressing his support and encouraging them to win the state championship.
