Wilson Fire Department is gearing up for its 3rd annual haunted house, an event that promises even more scares, jumps and surprises than ever before. Scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, the haunted house will take place at the fire station, located at 24051 Wilson Rd. in Henryetta. This year, Fire Chief David Kennedy and his team have been working hard to create a bigger and scarier experience for the community.
The event will offer two versions to cater to different audiences. From 6-7:30 p.m., a slightly toned-down version will be available for younger attendees, although parental guidance is still advised due to some unavoidable scenes of gore.
From 7:30-10 p.m., the full haunted house experience will be in effect, featuring all the favorite characters from previous years along with new frightening additions. Chief Kennedy emphasized that at 10:30 p.m., lines will close, and no new attendees will be allowed into the waiting queue.
Chief Kennedy also issued a few words of caution regarding the event.
“Due to issues in the past, we would like to reiterate that there will be no smoking of any kind, vaping or alcohol allowed on the premises. Security will be present, and rules will be enforced. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone,” he stated. The department encourages everyone to follow the rules to ensure a safe and fun event for all.
As always, the haunted house is free for everyone, although donations will be accepted at the door. Attendees will also be treated to free hot dogs and drinks while supplies last, with a limit of one per person. “Last year was huge, and we hope to have an even bigger turnout this year,” Chief Kennedy said. “We can’t wait to see everyone for another fun, successful event.”
For more information or to ask questions, the Wilson Fire Department encourages residents to reach out and share the event with friends. Be sure to mark your calendars and get ready for an evening of frightful fun.
