Athletes from Henryetta and Beggs competed at the OBU Cross Country Meet Thursday, Oct. 3, finishing with notable results:

Henryetta High School

In the Boys’ 3A race, the team placed third overall with an average time of 23:08.67. The top finisher for Henryetta was Cadyn Gillispie, who came in 13th overall with a time of 22:03.38. Other strong performances came from Zadan Montgomery (16th, 22:41.13), Kashton Montgomery (17th, 22:52.98) and Ty Goodner (20th, 23:38.46).

In the Girls’ 3A race, Henryetta secured a second-place finish with an average time of 16:13.11. Stormi Waquie was their top finisher, placing 4th with a time of 14:15.64, followed by Peyton Wind in 6th with 15:36.29. Annika Kramer and Avery Smith also placed in the top 15.

Beggs High School

In the Boys’ 3A race, Beggs had two runners compete. Isaiah Clay placed 4th overall with a time of 19:56.65, while Tristan Braden finished 20th with a time of 23:38.96.
