At its Sept. 18 meeting, the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency Board of Trustees awarded its first-ever HOME Investment Partnerships American Rescue Plan (HOMEARP) grants.
These grants aim to provide housing and supportive services to at-risk individuals, including those experiencing homelessness. Among the recipients, Deep Fork Community Action Foundation, Inc. in Okmulgee was awarded for the new construction of two rental homes in Okmulgee County.
Other organizations receiving grants include Under God’s Care, Inc. in Spiro and The Hope Center in Woodward. Additionally, the trustees approved several HOME Investment Partnerships Program grants to increase housing options across various communities in Oklahoma.
