American Exchange Bank is gearing up to host the highly anticipated Fall Festival and BBQ Competition at Nichols Park on Saturday, Oct. 5. This year’s event promises a smokin’ good time with the Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned Backyard BBQ Competition and a range of family-friendly activities.
Competitors from near and far will showcase their grilling prowess in the Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned Backyard BBQ Competition. With categories ranging from ribs to brisket, participants will vie for top honors and bragging rights in this sizzling showdown. Check-in for competitors will take place on Friday, Oct. 4, ensuring all grills are fired up and ready to go for the main event.
Beyond the BBQ competition, the Fall Festival offers something for everyone. Car enthusiasts can admire classic and custom rides at the Car Show, where the coolest cars will compete for coveted trophies. Admission to the Car Show is free, making it a must-see for visitors of all ages.
The event also serves a greater purpose, with proceeds benefiting the Nichols Park Restoration Committee, a local non-profit dedicated to enhancing community spaces in Henryetta. Vendor spots are available for $10, providing local businesses and artisans a platform to showcase their goods and services.
For a sample of the delectable BBQ items, taster kits will be available for $10.
