Dusty Wade Peavler, a beloved resident of Henryetta, passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 59. Born on September 4, 1965, in Okmulgee, Dusty lived a life full of love, hard work and devotion. On October 22, 1983, he married the love of his life, Deanna Kay (Francis), in Dewar, and together they built a life centered around family and faith.
Dusty was a dedicated Maintenance Technician for Dewar Public Schools for many years. His commitment to his work was matched only by his deep love for his family. In earlier years, he found peace and joy in fishing, and he was a member of Dewar First Baptist Church, where his faith in God shaped his life.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lois Aleeta Peavler; grandmother, Emma Ford; nephew, Shawn Minyard; in-laws, Mitchel “Butch” and Estella Francis; sister, Lana Robinson; and aunt, Juanita Bullard.

Sheena Shatswell and husband Jeremy, and Megan Donathan and husband Jonathan; three grandchildren, Jaron Shatswell, Jordis Donathan, and Memphis Donathan; sister, Joy Keller, sister-in law, Donna Kaler, and sister-in-law, Danna Smith and husband Tracy; as well as a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
A viewing was held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Service. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2024, at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, officiated by Rev. Ryan Wells. Services were entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service.
