Legislative update planned Aug. 23

The public is invited to attend a special legislative update with Senator James Lankford on Friday, Aug. 23. The event will take place from 12-1 p.m. in the basement of the Okmulgee Public Library, located at 218 S. Okmulgee Ave.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early to enjoy light refreshments provided by Okmulgee’s own Miss Mary’s Market. Hosted by the Okmulgee County Republicans, this event offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from Senator Lankford about the latest developments in Washington and their impact on Oklahomans.
