It’s Pageant Time!
This weekend, new royalty will be chosen as the Henryetta Labor Day pageant will be held. This year’s event will be held Saturday, Aug. 17, at The Briefcase, located at 313 W. Main.
The baby pageant will be held at 10 a.m. and Miss Labor Day will take place at 7 p.m. at the same venue.
This annual event promises to dazzle with youthful charm and community spirit. Participants, ranging from ages 5-20, will compete in various categories tailored to showcase their personalities and style. The pageant includes divisions such as:
• Petite Miss (Ages 5-7)
• Little Miss (Ages 8-11) • Junior Miss (Ages 12-15)
• Miss Labor Day (Ages 16-20) Each contestant will bring their unique flair to the stage, adorned in casual or sports wear of their own design. This event is not just a pageant, but a celebration of our local youth and their talents, who must reside within 25 miles of Henryetta.
Contestants have been preparing diligently, and a dress rehearsal is scheduled for this evening at 7 p.m.
In addition to the fashion segments, this year’s pageant introduces an opportunity for local talent to shine. Prior to the pageant, selected participants will showcase their skills, adding a new dimension of entertainment for attendees.
Families and friends are encouraged to support their favorite contestants and witness the crowning of this year’s Labor Day royalty.

The Henryetta Labor Day Pageant promises an evening of fun, community spirit, and the celebration of local talent.
This is just a precursor as the community prepares for the upcoming Labor Day Celebration, sponsored by the Henryetta Chamber of Commerce.
