Ice Cream Competition returns

Henryetta Rotary presents the 2nd annual Homemade Ice Cream Competition during the upcoming Labor Day Celebration.

Cool off this Labor Day as the Rotary Club searches for the best homemade ice cream.

The contest will be Monday, Sept. 2, immediately following the Parade. The competition will be held in the Main Street Pocket Park, next to the Chamber Office.

— Entry Rules

• No Entry Fee

• Must be homemade

• 1/2 Gallon Minimum

• Potential Allergens must be listed

• Deliver by 9:45 a.m. (in salt & ice)

• Return to serve your own entry immediately following the parade Serving supplies will be provided.

• 1st Place: $100 • 2nd Place: $50

• 3rd Place: $25 If you want to sample the delicious treats, you will be able to buy a ticket for $5 each, or a family pack of 5 for $15 and then sample all the ice cream and vote for the most delicious.

The People’s Choice winners will be announced at 1 p.m.
