Henryetta Public Library’s Summer Reading Program conducted a discussion about all of the types of weather conditions in Oklahoma.
Kristen Jackson came to visit the youngsters at the Henryetta Summer Reading Program. Jackson brought along her sidekick David O’Dell and performed the musical portion of the program.

American Legion Post 85 held a formal opening dance. The entry fee was $2 a person.
John Decker, Henryetta Blood Bank Chairman, accepted two $25 savings bonds from Mayor W.R. Stubbs and Sylvan Horne. The bonds were given as door prizes when the blood bank visited.

The Morgan showed “The Circus Cowboy” and “Dogs of War.”
Hundreds of people from Henryetta, Beggs, Morris, and other nearby cities spent their 4th of July at Douglas Park swimming, dancing and boating. The visitors brought picnic and spread out under the trees.
