Kick off your summer and make a trip to Henryetta where the Roy Madden Spring Rodeo Round Up is sure to entertain the whole family. Whether it’s your first rodeo or you’re a regular in the rodeo scene you will feel right at home in this arena.
The Roy Madden Spring Round Up Rodeo is June 7-8 and you can purchase tickets online rodeoticket. com. The Henryetta Chamber of Commerce holds this annual event at the First Family Jim Shoulders Living Legends Rodeo Arena at Nichols Park.
Adult admission is $10; child admission is $5 and children 5 & under are free.
The Rodeo starts at 8 p.m., so be sure to get there early. Starting at 7 p.m., registration opens for the Mutton Bustin. This event is free for ages 8 & under / 60 lbs weight limit. There is a limit, so if your little cowboy or cowgirl is ready to test out the arena this year save some time and get your tickets early. You’ll want to get in line to register.
Rodeo events start at 8 p.m. and include Bareback Riding, Bull Riding, Ranch Bronc Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, Jr. Bull Riding, Jr. Barrel Racing.
Hamburgers and hot dogs will be grilled up in the concessions and vendors will be set up around the arena. Parking is free and credit cards are accepted for gate and concession.
