The members of Henryetta’s VFW and American Legion Posts participated in the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Westlawn Cemetery. Caveryn Foster sang “Letters from War,” and Breanna Bevenue Clark sang “The National Anthem” and “Loyal, Brave and True” at the ceremony as well. Henryetta Public Schools Band Director Alan Montgomery concluded the ceremony with Taps. Also performing was Kent Pharaoh on the bagpipes playing “Oh Danny Boy.” VFW Post 539 Commander Bill Goodner led the ceremony in paying tribute to the fallen heroes. See additional photos on page A6.
