A serious personal injury collision occurred on US-266, eight miles west of Checotah in McIntosh County, on May 18, at approximately 5:30 p.m. The accident involved a single vehicle, a 2007 Ford F-250 driven by Kyle Dick, a 37-year-old resident of Henryetta.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), the Ford F-250 was traveling westbound on US-266 when it veered off the right side of the road. The vehicle struck a culvert and rolled multiple times before coming to a stop. During the accident, the victim was ejected from the vehicle.
