Dewar Schools bond proposition passes

Dewar school district voters approved a $320,000 bond issue in an election Tuesday, with over 71.58 percent approval given.

Okmulgee County votes for the proposition was 61, with 11 voting no. In McIntosh County, seven ballots for cast for the proposition, with 16 against.

Total ballots cast were 68 yes, 27 no.

The passages will provide needed updates district wide.
