HHS band to hold fundraiser

The first Henryetta Cruise Knight of the year will take place Saturday, April 6, from 6-10 p.m. During the event, there will be live music and an open mic night in Cowboy Park.

Cruise Knight coordinator Christy Jeffcoat is scheduling 30 minute slots for the evening for those interested in participating.

The Henryetta Knight Brigade will also be at the Cruise Knight as they raise funds for their trip next May.

On April 6, beginning at 6 p.m., the band will be selling their ‘old school’ band chili and smoked hotdogs prepared by Steve Sanford of Rustlers BBQ, a big supporter of the band.

All proceeds go towards the band’s Washington, DC trip next May.

Vendors will be on hand for the event, along with many stores being open to welcome attendees.
