Henryetta Public Schools students participated in a district-wide Career Day last Thursday, March 14. Students were able to hear and learn about the variety of careers possible in today’s society. Guest speakers from various businesses including First Family Federal Credit Union, the Henryetta Free-Lance and Wonderfully Made Therapy were on hand to share with the attendees. Law enforcement, EMS, fire departments and others displayed their gear with the excited students. It was a great event, even though inclement weather forced students to seek shelter for a time. Thanks so the all the participants, and the Henryetta staff members including Jenny Huckabay and Julie Watson for arranging this event for the second time.
