Our volunteer board member received a distress call about puppies who were dumped by the side of the road in Okmulgee County. When she and her husband arrived at the scene, they found four puppies dumped by an empty beer can, feeding only on dead fish. They took the puppies home, gave them each a complete bath of flea and tick dip and a warm, dry place to sleep. Now, the puppies need to be adopted into forever homes.

Meet Pretty Boy Floyd, Bugsy, Capone and Bonnie. They are around two months old and weigh less than 10 pounds.
• Pretty Boy Floyd: A small pup with a huge heart, he desires to know kindness exists in the world. A stunning brindle color, he is starved for human attention and love. He loves to be held and is so friendly.
• Bugsy: He’s a tiny little fella who is quiet, calm and so loving. He has a white tipped tail that’s always wagging.
• Capone: He is sweet, snuggly, playful and the perfect puppy.
• Bonnie: She is sweet as they come and a beautiful yellow lab color, with a white tipped tail. She is chill, cuddly, happy and full of tail wags.
In a separate situation, Cher was left in another location with her brother. Both were fostered out of the Okmulgee Animal Shelter. Her brother was adopted, now Cher seeks to be adopted into her forever home.
• Cher: She is just 12 weeks old. While in shelter, Cher was a firecracker who crawled into the toy bucket to find the perfect toy. Now in a foster home, she is all cuddles and love. Invite her to join you under the covers. Cher is ready to give her love.
