The Okmulgee County Republican Party is pleased to announce the upcoming County Republican Convention and preceding Precinct meetings scheduled for Friday, Feb. 16. The event will be held at the American Legion building, 730 W. 6th St. in Okmulgee.

Participants are required to be registered Republicans as of Dec. 31, 2023, and must be listed as Republicans on the voter rolls at checkin on Feb. 16. Checkin will commence at 6 p.m. and conclude at 6:20 p.m.

During the convention, attendees will convene in their precincts to recommend County and State Rules and Platform changes. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to sign up to be delegates to the County Convention, which will immediately follow the precinct meetings.

The keynote speaker for the convention will be Senator Roger Thompson.

The regular meeting scheduled for Feb. 13, will not be held, and the county meeting will take place on Feb. 16.
