The Okmulgee County Republican Convention and preceding precinct meetings will be held Friday, Feb. 16, from 6-8:30 a.m. at the American Legion, located at 730 W 6th St. in Okmulgee. Participants must be on the voter rolls as registered Republicans as of Dec. 31, 2023, and listed Republicans on the voter rolls at check in on Feb. 16, 2024. Participant check-in begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 6:20 p.m. Participants will initially meet in their precincts to recommend county and state rules and platform changes and sign up to be delegates to the County Convention immediately following the precinct meetings.
