The Henryetta Hallmark Christmas was a great success with a huge turnout for the second annual event. Thanks to coordinators Kelly Dobson and Valerie Mosco, along with the many organizations, volunteers and businesses who helped make this event even bigger and better than the first year. The Henryetta Lions Club and Henryetta Rotary Club took part in the event with attendees able to get hot cocoa from the Rotarians, and the Lions handed out free cookies. The American Guardians Motorcycle Group manned the Grinch “Whoville” area with games, activities and lots of fun stuff, along with collecting toys that will be donated to the Shriners Hospital for Children. There was so much to do and so much fun throughout the day, which culminated with the annual Christmas Parade. The holiday fun continues this weekend with the free movie at the civic center, “The Polar Express.” If you missed the parade, be sure to visit the Henryetta Free-Lance Facebook page for the video.
