John Joseph Shepherd, Jr., also known as John-John, a beloved member of Okmulgee and the Muscogee Creek Nation community, passed away tragically at his home on November 15, 2023, at the age of 46 with his beloved dog, Chabon. Born on July 22, 1977, in Orange, Calif., John was the cherished son of parents, Johnny and Joan (Zuniga) Shepherd. John relocated to Oklahoma to be near his family in 1994.
