The 8th annual Harlan Ford Toy Drive begins today, and the community is invited to participate in helping make a child’s holiday season brighter.
The drive will take place through Dec. 16, when the toys will be distributed by the Okmulgee County Department of Human Services with the help of the Okmulgee Police Department.
Donations of unwrapped toys and bicycles are sought.
To kick off the drive this week, Jared Cable with First National Bank brought a bunch of toys to Harlan Ford, located at Hwy. 75 and Loop 56.
Today, Fred Harlan and his staff will welcome Coach Pat Jones to the dealership from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Be sure to also watch for the Toy Drive commercial coming to Channel 8.
