Berryhill wins Morris mayoral election
Joe Berryhill won the election as mayor for the City of Morris after Tuesday’s vote.
Berryhill won overwhelmingly, with 123 ballots cast in his favor, or 87.2 percent. Nicholas Jindra came in second with 11 votes, followed by Greg Foreman with seven.
There were 141 ballots cast in this special election.
Berryhill is a native of Morris and has previously served on the Morris City Council.
