Two arrested Sunday
Two men were arrested following a stop by Henryetta police on Sunday.
On Nov. 12 at around 2:48 a.m., an HPD officer was patrolling when he observed a white Ford with no bed, only one working taillight, along with non-functioning brake lights, according to court records.
After the stop was made at 9th and Cummings, the HPD officer made contact with the driver, identified as Noah Michael Mosler, 21, of Henryetta. A passenger in the truck was identified as Jacob Andrew Snider, 25, also of Henryetta.
During the course of the stop, it was determined the vehicle that was being driven had been transferred to Mosler, however, it was not tagged or insured.
While waiting for a wrecker, the officer inventoried the vehicle, and during the search retrieved a handgun that had been stolen out of Pittsburg County, according to the affidavit.
Both men were placed under arrest and transported to the Henryetta Police Department.
While being booked, a search of Snider revealed a syringe and a bag containing a crystal-like substance. Both men were transported to the Okmulgee County Jail where they were booked.
Snider is facing complaints of Possession of CDS (Meth), Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Possession of Firearm After Felony Conviction. Bond is set at $34,000.
Mosler was jailed on Possession of Firearm After Felony Conviction, No Insurance, Possession Stolen Property and Defective Vehicle. His bond was set at $24,500.
Both men are scheduled to appear in district court for an initial appearance on Nov. 21 at 1:15 p.m.
