HPS, authorities investigate threatening message discovered in bathroom Henryetta Public Schools issued a statement Monday to parents and guardians about a threatening statement discovered in a restroom.
“A threatening statement was discovered on a wall in the middle school bathroom today.
Authorities have been notified, and an investigation is taking place. We believe it to be unsubstantiated, but we will increase security as a safety precaution.”
— HPS board to hold special session today The Henryetta Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 7:30 a.m. today. An executive session is planned to conduct two hearings on appeals of students’ suspension (two separate incidents) as requested by the parents and/or guardians. Upon return to open session and announcement of minutes of the executive, the agenda lists a discussion and vote on motion to adopt findings of fact, and to uphold, modify, or reverse the suspension.

The Henryetta Baseball annual Ham Fundraiser is underway. Orders are due Nov. 17, with delivery Nov. 20. The cost is $45 for a smoked ham, $40 for sugar glazed or packaged spiral cut hams. To place an order, contact any middle or high school baseball player or coaches.
