Area schools joined in celebrating National Red Ribbon Week, which began Oct. 23 and continues through Oct. 31. This year’s Red Ribbon Campaign Theme is “Be Kind to Your Mind. Live Drug-Free.” Dewar and Wilson Schools had themed dress days during the week. At Wilson, students brought out their best pajamas, and on “Wear Red” day, some even brought out costumes to show their creativity. At Dewar, members of the Student Council helped students fill out their pledge to remain Drug Free.
